Plum ‘Marjorie’s Seedling’ is one of the most widely grown and dependable plum varieties in the UK. A superb late-season plum, it produces large, purple-blue fruits that ripen into a deep blue-black with a soft, powdery bloom. When picked early, the fruit makes an excellent cooking plum, but when left to fully ripen on the tree, the flavour becomes rich, sweet, and juicy - perfect for eating fresh.

Renowned for its vigour and disease resistance, ‘Marjorie’s Seedling’ is a reliable and heavy-cropping variety, equally suited to home gardens and small orchards. The green-yellow flesh is juicy and full-flavoured, making it ideal for jams, puddings, or enjoying straight from the tree. Self-fertile and hardy, it’s one of the last plums to ripen, extending your harvest season well into late summer.
